Adalimumab (ADD-ah-lim-u-mab) is used to decreased signs, symptoms, and progression of moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis. It is intended for use in patients who have not responded well to other Disease Modifying Antirheumatic Drugs (DMARDS). Adalimumab can be used in combination with methotrexate or other DMARDs. Adalimumab is available only with your doctor's prescription, in the following dosage forms: Parenteral Injection (U.S.)
