Alrex

Alrex (loe-te-PRED-nol ) belongs to the group of medicines known as corticosteroids (cortisone-like medicines). It is used to treat inflammation (redness) of the eye, which may occur with certain eye problems or following eye surgery. Alrex is also used to temporarily treat the symptoms of the eye caused by a condition known as seasonal allergic conjunctivitis (seasonal eye allergy). Alrex is available only with your doctor's prescription, in the following dosage form: Ophthalmic Eye drops (U.S.)
