Dorzolamide

Dorzolamide (dor-ZOLE-a-mide) is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor that is used in the eye. It is used to treat increased pressure in the eye caused by open-angle glaucoma. It is also used to treat a condition called hypertension of the eye. Dorzolamide is available only with your doctor's prescription, in the following dosage form: Ophthalmic Ophthalmic solution (eye drops) (U.S.)
