Duvoid

Duvoid (be-THAN-e-kole ) is taken to treat certain disorders of the urinary tract or bladder. It helps to cause urination and emptying of the bladder. Duvoid may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor. Duvoid is available only with your doctor's prescription in the following dosage forms: Oral Tablets (U.S. and Canada) Parenteral Injection (U.S. and Canada)

Duvoid is used to relieve difficulties in urinating caused by surgery, drugs, or other factors. Duvoid is sometimes prescribed for other uses; ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

Duvoid comes as a tablet to take by mouth. Duvoid usually is taken two to four times a day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take Duvoid exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor. Duvoid usually is taken at evenly spaced intervals during the day. Take Duvoid on an empty stomach (at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals) to prevent stomach upset.
