Interferon beta-1a (in-ter-FEER-on BAY-ta) is used to treat the relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS). Interferon, Beta-1a will not cure MS, but it may slow some disabling effects and decrease the number of relapses of the disease. Interferon beta-1a is also used to treat genital warts. Interferon, Beta-1a is available only with your doctor's prescription, in the following dosage form(s): Parenteral Injection (U.S. and Canada)
