Isometheptene Mucate, Dichloralphenazone, and Acetaminophen

The combination of Isometheptene Mucate, Dichloralphenazone, and Acetaminophen is used to relieve migraine and tension headaches. It prevents blood vessels in your head from expanding and causing headaches. Isometheptene Mucate, Dichloralphenazone, and Acetaminophen is sometimes prescribed for other uses; ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

The combination of Isometheptene Mucate, Dichloralphenazone, and Acetaminophen comes as a capsule to take by mouth. It usually is taken when a headache first begins and then as needed. Do not take more than five capsules in 12 hours or more than eight capsules per day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take Isometheptene Mucate, Dichloralphenazone, and Acetaminophen exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
