Ketorolac Oral

Ketorolac is used to relieve pain and reduce inflammation (swelling). It is used for a short time to treat headache, dental pain, sports-related injuries, and other painful conditions. Ketorolac Oral is sometimes prescribed for other uses; ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

Ketorolac comes as a tablet to take by mouth. It usually is taken every 4-6 hours as needed for pain for up to 5 days. Ketorolac should be started as an injection given at a hospital or other health care setting. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take ketorolac exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
