Lotensin HCT containing Hydrochlorothiazide and Benazepril Hydrochloride comes as a tablet and liquid to take by mouth. It usually is taken once or twice a day. If you are to take it once a day, take it in the morning; if you are to take it twice a day, take it in the morning and in the late afternoon to avoid going to the bathroom during the night. Take Lotensin HCT containing Hydrochlorothiazide and Benazepril Hydrochloride with meals or a snack. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take Lotensin HCT containing Hydrochlorothiazide and Benazepril Hydrochloride exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor. Lotensin HCT containing Hydrochlorothiazide and Benazepril Hydrochloride controls high blood pressure but does not cure it. Continue to take Lotensin HCT containing Hydrochlorothiazide and Benazepril Hydrochloride even if you feel well. Do not stop taking Lotensin HCT containing Hydrochlorothiazide and Benazepril Hydrochloride without talking to your doctor. |
