Quiphile

Quiphile is used to prevent and treat malaria. Quiphile is sometimes prescribed for other uses; ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

Quiphile comes in capsules and tablets to take by mouth. It usually is taken three times a day (every 8 hours) for 3 days for malaria attacks, twice a day for 6 weeks to prevent or suppress malaria, and at bedtime for leg cramps. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take Quiphile exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor. Since Quiphile is very bitter, do not chew tablets before swallowing them.
