TAO

TAO is an antibiotic used to treat infection, especially of the nose and throat, and strep throat. TAO may also be used in combination with steroid drugs to treat patients with asthma. TAO is sometimes prescribed for other uses; ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

TAO comes as a capsule to take by mouth. It usually is taken four times a day for 10 days. Doses should be taken at evenly spaced intervals throughout the day. It can be taken with or without food. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take TAO exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor. Continue to take TAO even if you feel well. Do not stop taking TAO without talking to your doctor.
